Like I said, I like to stay busy. Here are the publications I have written for:
Fourteen East Magazine is DePaul’s new online magazine that focuses on sharing information regarding social/political issues that relate to young adults in Chicago. I am one of the magazine’s founders and the social media director.
Her Campus DePaul is a chapter of the national online magazine, Her Campus. The focus of HC is to give college women a voice and a source of information/entertainment on issues that pertain to them. I wrote 26 articles during the 2015-2016 academic school year and continue to write articles.
Chicago Rises is a nonprofit organization that works to destigmatize Chicago. To do so, Chicago Rises serves as a resource to Chicagoans that connects them with positive events and organizations in Chicago. I was a journalism intern for Chicago Rises and wrote articles showcasing organizations around the city.
I have contributed a few articles to The DePaulia, DePaul’s print newspaper.
Society 19 is another online publication geared towards college women. When I wrote for Society 19, I had my own column titled #ThrowbackThursday. Every other Thursday I would write about old Disney Channel shows/childhood memories, relating them to life in college.
